Guard dog

No, the doe and fawns are NOT in any danger. This is an Akbash, a Turkish dog is used as a guard dog for flock and herd animals.
The dog stays on the outside of our pens. If anything – coon, dog, coyote, skunk, stray cat, etc. enters the perimeter fence the Akbash runs it down and kills it. It's incredible to watch this dog work. The dogs weight about 130 - 160 lbs.
